This is a superb antique scent bottle.

Crystal and silver, with French silver marks.

" tête de lapin " (a rabbit's head) Paris 1819 - 1838.

Heavy cut crystal, typical work from the King Charles X period.

These little scent bottles were often displayed in the superb sewing boxes from this period.

Dimensions: 7,6 x 1,8 cm

Period: 1819 - 1838

A few tiny chips on the crystal and a bump to the silver lid.

The original crystal stopper is still there.

Napoleon III period, inlaid with brass.

Stamped:  "Maison H. Sss" " BREVETE " and "HS PARIS".

This is a superb antique French jewelry box.

Made during the Napoleon III period and delivered with the key.

Dimensions: 28 x 10,3 cm   Height: 9,3 cm.

Very good antique condition, no missings, no repairs.

Only inside is a bit yellow because of age, and little discrete signs of age inside, behind the lock.

This kind of jewelry box is very difficult to find in such a good condition !
