SOLD--Unusual Piece of Watchmaking , with Chiseled Mouvemen, ca.1870.

It is a piece with 4.5 cm in diameter, case in Argent Vermeille, French term, for gilded silver. The case has a mark of 18, referring to the type of gold used in the gilding, which is still in excellent the amount of gold used. The aforementioned case has fantastic manual work, where we can appreciate on one side, a small town, with a river, bridge, houses and castle. By itself, this magnificent work would be enough to enhance the watch. .However, when we open the box, we find something even more unique, a fully crafted machine whose pictures are worth a thousand words.

The silver case is in excellent condition.

Unique movement, possibly the first we present, working very well, completely clean and serviced by our watchmaker, one year warranty.

Enamel dial, with hairline from 8 o'clock to the centre, and restoration to the rim at 8 o'clock.
