Candelilla Light is 100% vegetal wax processed through additional filtering and bleaching. Like carnauba wax, candelilla is highly recognized for its high hardness with resistance to wear and tear, but unlike carnauba, due to the high content of hydrocarbons and natural resins that it contains, candelilla wax distinguishes with excellent adhesiveness, good flexibility, aditional water repellency and moisture barrier properties. Can be applied pure or as an enhancer and formula improver for cosmetic use, leather finishing, wood and furniture finishes, varnishes etc.
Soluble in oils, resins, alcohol, acetone, turpentine, aromatic solvents and long list of organic solvents.
