NORDIK A78 HEAVY DUTY

The TRICYCLE  NORDIK A78 Version HEAVY DUTY is a Cargo Bike built entirely in Italy, belonging to NEW  HEAVY DUTY WORK SERIES. It's 'specially designed for those who must use the tricycle intensively with Medium loads (up to 250 kg), but who needs a easy to handle tricycle like a traditional bicycle.

This is the reinforced Version of NORDIK BASIC (250 Kg of Capacity), and has these difference in features:

• The Rims are very reinforced, made in Stainless Steel from an Italian Company specialized in Motorbikes Wheels. Spokes are 3 mm Thick, The Hub is made in Special Alloy, and the thickness of the bar of the wheel's eye is 20 mm thick.  These are really robust and made for heavy duty work.

• Below the Front Cargo Platform, it has a Double Stabilizer Roller Bearing, to avoid damaging  when the Platform, carrying heavy weights on irregular terrain (such as the Pavements of the Historic Centers), takes waves  . This feature prevent that the joint system, under the Platform, could brake twisting torsos. (Photo Below)

• NORDIK HEAVY DUTY A78  is equipped (included in the price) of rear luggage racks very reinforced, made in  in solid steel rods, and can charge until 80 Kg ( ideal 50 Kg).  This rear luggage rack can be useful for Street Food Preparation for to charge a Insulated Box for drinks or other things, but also because it reinforce the frame of bicycle

• The rear Wheel, has a Robust Alloy rims with a Steel Made Hub, but with Spkes 2,5 mm thick, more stronger that traditional spokes for bicycle. The gear is  Shimano 7V with derailleur, because simpler and more robust then a  Gear-Hub and easy for maintenance.

This Cargo Bike Tricycle is thought specially for those that needs to work with the bicycle, also in heavy condition, all day, until 250 Kg, mantaining the facility in driving, like a traditional bicycle.

It has the looking like the Mamy's Cargo Bike in Nord Europe ( danish or Dutch Cargo Bike tricycles), but is made for Working.

It is the perfect solution for those that wants to Prepare/ Build a Street Food Bike simple and Medium Sized. It can Charge a Workbench, a Big Box or a Ice Cream Freezer.

This is the Ideal working bike for quick delivery at home of Pizza, ( or mineral water or drinks or other food) in simple manner. It can have many optional like Electric Kit for Assisted Ride,. The Frame seems little, but the tubes are 3mm thicks ( against the traditional, that are 1,5 mm)

The front Platform has a Inner width   (between 2 wheels) of 78 cm, while the length of the platform is 100 cm, but is equipped with a front extension, which allows, if necessary, to stretch the base up to a length of 125 cm. This feature allows you to mount a narrow and Long front chest .

The joint which connects the bicycle under the front platform is very strong and advanced respect the wheels axis. In the Heavu duty Version, the tricycle mount a Double Stabilizer for to distribute the Charge weight on all the frame,  also when the street is with waves.

It has an excellent steering angle and a surprising stability even at high speeds. Despite being a tricycle, when driving really seems to be on a normal bicycle. In fact, the NORDIK is equipped with a stabilizer spring, which helps to maintain a stable trajectory of the tricycle, even when you pedal faster, maybe with a Electric Kit with pedal assistance.

The tricycle is light enough to pedal at full load, and features a 7-speed Shimano derailleur.

It has the Barra handlebars  like Northern Europe Cargo Bike , and this is useful when making tight turns.

This Tricycle has some Plug for mount the pole for Canopy (OPTIONAL)  or Side Protection with Tubes, for to create a Front Cage (OPTIONAL).

-    EXTENSION OF THE FRONT PLATFORM  until 125 Cm Length, in order to mount longer front boxes. (OPTIONAL 70 € + VAT)

-    FRONT NATURAL WOODEN BOX  for those who want to use it to carry things or even children  (OPTIONAL 150 € + VAT)

Can be  Shipped assembled with the  Bike part separate from the Front Platform,   to take up less space in transport. The whole is packed and put on a pallets 120 x 120.

You can also consider to assembly it and if you prefer, we can ship it in assembling Kit, all packed in a Cartoon 100cm x 100cm x 50cm  Heigt
